We’re very excited to be starting the Word of the Week again!
For those of you who weren’t here the first “round” We’ll run through how it works: Each Thursday we’ll present a “word” for you to generate artwork from. Sometimes it will be a specific word, sometimes a theme, a style etc. The purpose of this exercise is to have fun and stretch your creative thinking. This weeks word is: Origami… but with a twist- see if you can generate your Origami in a Back to School scene
Origami, is originally a Japanese word that comes from these two words: ori- which means folding and Kami (also Gami is dialect) which means paper. It is the Japanese art of paper folding. Nowadays when someone says origami they are talking about all folding practices regardless of their culture of origin.
