URGENT web banner help

Client wants an ad resized for a web banner
160x600 px
Does it make sense that that’s TINY and in order to fit my text on, it needs to be like 1-2pt size?
And when I do that, it gets blurry…??

I tried importing my photoshop file into indesign , with the same dimensions, and for some reason, 160x600px is MUCH bigger in indesign???

Any suggestions? I feel like I must be doing SOMETHING wrong

Work with Photoshop pixels, Indesign measures pixels differently. Cut back on text as much as possible. Get it to be at least 3/4pts- on screen it should be okay. work w a thicker text

Happy to explain it all to you

Thanks

Thanks so much

@adinacahn I was asked to design something 2112 px by 2112 px.
I created it in photoshop and want to bring it into ID, how do I size the doc?

I would paste it into indesign and then resize the doc to that

If I need to resize an ad I made in Indesign to a 1920 x 1080, what would be best way to go about it?

I would create a new doc 1920 x 1080 , bring all the material from your last ad in it, and then resize, reposition and possibly take away unnecessary parts

Seems to be a discussion here that the Indesign pixels work differently than Photoshop?

correct
but If I have the rest of the artwork in indesign, I set it up on a 1920x1080 in indesign, export as a jpg or pdf and then bring into PSD and resize there

Do I need to resize in PS?

in PS set up a 1920 x 1080 (it’ll be about 75% smaller than the indesign one) and then I just scale down the file and its ready

K, thanks!
Just curious if this makes any difference, this is not for a phone. It’s for a big screen in a store.

that’s fine! if its pixel measurement that works

I meant do I need to resize if it’s for a bigger screen?
