Too many Security plugins

A client contacted me to troubleshoot their website, a website I did not build. I noticed they have several plugins that seem to overlap. Should I remove all except for one?

  • Malcare
  • Succuuri - inactive
  • Wordfence
    *Exploit Scanner

Are these not overlapping? You probably wont need all of them, unless they were installed for specific reason each (which doesnt really make sense)

I also think you need only one.
Double-check to make sure none of the plugins are doing something extra and then keep just one security plugin.

Agree with Shlomith and Esti. No need for several, but as Esti says, double check first.
