When would use opt for a higher level hosting for a client, so that they’d get a staging site along with the regular one?
My client has issues to be troubleshooted and will be doing minor updates to content and design.
You’d have to consider the situation, I think. Will this client use any of the other features that come along with the higher plan? And what is the alternative? Usually the hosting will be cheaper than hiring you to manage it, if they’d be doing that. If they’re doing it themselves, how much are they willing to risk? And also, are they willing to learn how to use the staging tool?
