Hi, someone asked me if he can have two backends on Shopify.

Meaning he would want to sell two different categories on one store but when he’s managing the backend to only see one at a time. Like if two people want to sell different products on the same front end but each wouldn’t be able to see the same backend.

Is that possible?

I would ask Shopify customer service directly. I could not see a clear answer when I googled the question.

To me it sounds like what he’s looking for is a multi-vendor marketplace type of idea?
I have never done it in Shopify only on Woocommerce, but googling led me here:
