Hi,
I’m designing a yearbook and would like to see samples for inspiration. If anyone has any, please email me at chanaplandau@gmail.com. Thanks.
Anyone?
I did one a while back, its hard to base your design off of it because this is what the 8th graders chose and the theme etc…
Ask the school for the past years’ yearbooks…
Will also give you a feel for that particular school as I’ve found that styles vary…
These are some spreads I did for a yearbook about 5 years ago… I wouldn’t quite do it the same now, but I think it should give an idea. The scenery type spreads were the opening and closing spreads for the literary section. The tabs on the side were manually cut by the girls so they could flip within the section.
I have some more on file, will see if I can locate if you find it helpful.
Gluck!
Also - honestly, once you do one yearbook you’re in luck I find they all basically reuse the same themes in one way or another. Get a good Shabbos picture, a Beis Hamikdash picture, a crown and a gate and you pretty much have it made!
found some more from 6 years ago…

this was another year…

That’s exactly what I was looking for: various layout and design options for many articles, memories, etc.
Thanks
These are all stunning!! You are so talented!
Wow, These are really attractive!
Thanks!! They were fun to work on. I haven’t done one in a while but overall I think yearbooks are a great area especially when you’re starting out. Relatively relaxed deadlines, pretty straight-forward concepts etc… and lots of fun to make
Gorgeous spreads!
Where do you take the images from?
Then I think I used whatever free resources I could find… didn’t fargin myself paid images for the amt they were (not) paying
Nowadays I would prob use freepik and midjourney. BH I really find with ai I don’t need to buy images these days…
