Hi, I am still a beginner and I’m wondering if someone can help me.
I work for a company and they don’t have their logo in vector format. they took over the business from someone so no way to get the vector file. I tried tracing it in illustrator but doesn’t look perfect. I thought maybe there is a way to turn a photoshop selection into a vector path or something so I can bring it in to illustrator?
You can either try live trace in illustrator or yes you can try making a selection in photoshop converting to path and then to a shape but doubt would make a good result. The best would still be to probably go over it in illustrator very very carefully. Or if anyone knows there might be a new AI on the block that can do it!
Of you can try bringing it into adobe express which has a jpg to vector feature. We also put two different sites that do that on the designergy newsletter last week
Thank you Adina! The link on the newsletter was amazing (i had to sign up for 9 dollars, to download an EPS, but I’ll cancel my subscription)
I got a pretty perfect result. I still have work but the majority is done.
I’m happy to hear! Wasnt a part of this discussion and just popped in but even though! So glad to hear it worked out. Wish I was a part of the designergy newsletter last week to know what you’re talking about. I’ve never received their newsletters, as far as I know. Just signed up today…
If anyone needs an image to be vectorized I will still have my subscription for one month. So I can do it for you. (I thought I can get a refund but I can only cancel and not be charged again.)
