Revit Stairs

Hey,

I am trying to create stairs using the free form option I am not sure what I am doing wrong but for some reason I cannot create it, I keep getting an error message from Revit .
I am drawing the stairs over a 2d drawing of a staircase, I followed all the steps according to the Revit recording of how it’s supposed to be created (boundaries then stairs then stair path) and I keep getting the same error message.

If anyone else has ever had this issue pls lmk

See the little black arrow. The line between both runs should be a boundary line (in green)

How do I do this kind of stairs?
