Hi, since a website costs is more expensive I was wondering if you charge middle payments or just deposit and rest before launch
Any advise would be appreciated. Also whats the norm to charge for deposit?

I charge 50% of price as a deposit and the rest of the end… You could divide it into 3 payments if you would like but I find it just makes things more complicated.
Once the give a deposit they are usually committed to see it thru until the end.

I do 30 or 40 % deposit and balance before I hand over the site (the logins )

I do 50% deposit and 50% once the first round of development is completed. For me, that is when the bulk of the work has been completed, it’s just revisions left, and as revisions can drag, I don’t want to be tied down to that schedule.
