I know this has been discussed in the past, but I’m wondering about pricing for a store. I will be making ads, posters, postcards etc… how do I charge? Per item designed or project. I feel like this will be an ongoing project once I start.
Thanks
I just looked at all the pricing questions asked in the past. I dont feel like anything gives me a clear answer… Im waiting to give a potential client an answer, if anyone can help out. thank you
I’m unsure but I think I would charge the client per project which is in essence per item. Every item is sort of a new project…
You should give her a price sheet like all ads are $…postcard $…
or if it’s easier, maybe charge per hour. You can go onto myhours.com and time your work on their website.
Thankx Breindy this helps. I see ppl post about business cards, email blast and such, but nobody posted about post cards, and posters. Are they equivalent to flyers, or more like email blasts?
thank you again.
Hi I think you should be charging per item
Start with pricing out a few things so its not extremely overwhelming
I would not charge by the hour here cuz as you said this may be ongoing…
If you are doing a lot of work then I would throw in something like a postcard for free or a small fee so it makes them feel like they are getting the best for their money!
Obviously ads should charge your regular ad price and I would say posters are the same as ads with maybe a bit higher-like $30 more than an ad…
I hope this helps!
