PDF page size from Acrobat

I’m creating a new design for a client based on an existing PDF.
They don’t know the page size of what they need and they said I should find it from the PDF they sent me. I tried opening it in illustrator and inspecting properties in acrobat but its been saved with crop marks and bleed etc… so the page size is coming out bigger than it really is?
Anyone know where I can find the exact page size of a PDF?

that’s true i just tried it with a file of mine and the Acrobat properties>description>page size includes the bleed.
Here’s a thread with a link to a way to do it quickly by adding a javascript file and also shows you a handy visual guide to do in Acrobat Preferences > Page Display > Show art, trim & bleed boxes so you can check there is a bleed (makes a red border)

Personally i would do a workaround and create a page in InDesign to the size the pdf shows and place the pdf page (check ‘show import settings’) and in options you can choose to crop to with the art/crop/trim/bleed/media and then you could take a square shape to measure the difference of a version with bleed and without and then you’ll know the bleed amount!

or maybe you could even do this with the crop marks but i don’t find them clear coz people often don’t offset them enough and they overlap the artwork. it would show you the trim size though…
