Hi. Does anyone have experience making an e-commerce website without a checkout? Website would look like an e-commerce store but instead of ‘add to card’ it would say ‘request a quote’.
Also if they may one day add a checkout then I would probably do it on Shopify but is it necessary to do it on Shopify if there won’t be a checkout in the future?

Can you do a gallery with request a quote button?
maybe but would the store owner be able to see which product they are requesting? also its a regular e-comerce store not like just a few products… so would want to have variable’s grouped together.
Meaning, they need to request a quote on their cart?
I’m sure there are multiple ways to do this, but one could be to set up a regular store and have them checkout, but put all prices at 0 (and hide visually), make them digital so there’s no shipping, and change the wording on buttons and emails.
