im currently working on a logo and im a bit stuck, my client wants me to try to add movement to this butterfly it should look as if its flying. how would i do it? im working in illustrator
any ideas?

Is there a way to make the butterfly a drop higher and then add the movement under it? Maybe the movement can be coming from the t as the line on the t, and take out the line from the t thats crossing.
I would use a different butterfly that doesnt look as ‘still’.
Not that this helps but i guess butterflies are for Electrolysis…

I think the specific butterfly you used is flat, though you could use something like these which have more movement
In the logo, if you created it, I’d advise you to either remove the slogan or use a clearer plainer font for it as at that size it’ll be very unclear.
I personally wouldn’t recommend you do that in a logo. The butterfly is going to be really small, so those shadows probably won’t even be possible to see. Though I wonder what others have to say…

Agree with Rivky. I would try using a different butterfly thats not as flat.
being that we already confirmed on the logo and then she decided she wants some edits i wouldnt do too many edits but i will tell her about the font for the bottom. does this help? or do any better?
This logo is so cute!
Maybe try making this folded butterfly a little slanted and add three dots coming out from the bottom.
