I was wondering whether anyone can recommend a very good laptop that I can use for interior design (Autocad, Revit etc). I would like a laptop that is built well so that I can take it with me when I am out and about, and I would also like it to be fast and have decent battery life.

Whats your budget?
Its hard to get everything! Best is to go with a gaming laptop, often the battery life goes more quickly with these kinds of laptops that use heavy programs. Don’t go for anything less than i7 processor and you also need a good graphics card.
Its worth speaking to a computer technician before you buy.

I also purchased a laptop recently for this course, so maybe I can help.
I’m not the tech expert, but my husband works at B&H, and this is what he recommended for me. As mentioned, a gaming laptop is preferable for these heavy programs… The laptop I got is working perfectly so far, no issues at all. I also got a large screen and mounted it, if you’re interested. I definitely found it necessary to have the larger screen, especially when working in AutoCAD, but maybe that’s just me since I’m not 20 anymore
