Issue with plugins or themes

Hi! I made my client site live a while back and gave my client admin access. He now complained that some of the images are showing up in the wrong places.
Indeed, it looks all messed up from my end. I cant customise anything anymore on the site - theme customizer and the pages also, when i try to edit them are messed up and everything is in the wrong place. What could be the problem?
I checked my theme and the plugins are up to date…

Any advice?

Hmm. It’s possible your client messed something up

Check if all plugins/themes are up to date and the right ones are active.

If you need to troubleshoot, you can use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, read the directions, it’s pretty cool. (I only just discovered it)

If it’s a static site (meaning they don’t change information on the site like blog, products etc) you can revert back to a backup version, which looks right.

Thank you!

Thank you for your suggestions! I tried restoring and also used the troubleshooting plugin but nothing seems to be showing an error…
I managed to customize my site using a custom css plugin so the website looks fine. But if my client would want to change anything in the future it looks all messed up.
Any ideas as to why my normal block editor will not load properly? Why i cant edit anything…
This is what I get when i press edit page…

plugin conflict?

Also, from experience, paid themes and plugins don’t show when they are outdated when a license is expired. You have to check on their site or with them. Or if they don’t provide updates anymore they also won’t tell you it’s outdated.

Good luck!

@Sheindy_Karniol, I don’t remember seeing your finished site. It looks great! You did a wonderful job!

Hmm. I don’t know what is going on, but here’s a few things you can try:

  • First would be to deactivate plugins, but you said you did that already and the block editor is still messed up?

  • Check your hosting company if your PHP is up to date

  • Clear all caches, including whatever is in the hosting dashboard

  • Test a version of the site that is working (from a backup) on a different domain (subdomain for testing) and play around there, trying to see if you can work out what caused it.
