Hi! A client sent me an InDesign file to format, but when I try to open it, ID tells me that the file was created using a newer version of ID than what I have. But then when I click update, it tells me that I’m all set and I don’t need any updates…I attached screenshots of what I’m seeing, anyone have any advice?
telll your client to send you an idml packaged version (with fonts and links). You should be able to open that and save as an indd
I figured out how to update my InDesign, so I just updated to the latest version and it worked now
