InDesign set on Hebrew - How do I change it?

It looks like my InDesign is set on hebrew- how do I change it?
when I bring in text it automatically jumps right-to-left and when I fill a text frame with placeholder text it fills it with hebrew…

open your CC preferences and change your language to english north american (or UK) and if it doestn update, uninstall and then reinstall your program

I had that as well but when I installed ID with my settings on English - USA I did not have Hebrew at all. I found it easier to stay in the Hebrew since I wanted my Hebrew to work but when I work in English text I just change the paragraph direction to left-to-right.
For filling with placeholder text, change the text frame language to English and then fill with placeholder text. Good Luck!

I’m at work now and not on a computer that has ID so can’t attach a screenshot but when you select the text frame in the control panel somewhere you should have an option to change the language. it says Hebrew, click down and choose English - US or UK :slight_smile:
