Home printer for graphic designers

Hi! Does anyone have any know-how to share on choosing a printer?
I need a high quality print basically just to be able to see (in print) what I’m sending to clients as it’s obviously not always the same as on screen…
Not sure where to start because as always more money doesn’t necessarily mean better quality…
anyone have any idea??

would not bother with a home printer if you are trying to check color accuracy (which is what i assume you are trying to do). it is best to do a color proof at the printers and let client sign that off but there is no way the printer can match your home printout colors
