Client is very happy with this add but wants me to place barber shop pic/icon on it and I cant seem to find a right way to place it…! He davka wants the $12 to be bold and striking so I cant put the pic there…

why don’t you put a barber shop interior behind the red circle?
If you want to keep minimalistic you can try to put the icon on the bottom right overlapping the red 12 circle in a black circle with hair trimmer in the same beige as background (see below)

Beautiful! I like how the scissor leads towards the circle and is attached like that! The stroke line makes it stand out more.
