Hebrew Letter in a dotted line

Hi,
I am working on a project that I need to include a hebrew letter that is dotted so kids can trace the letter.
What is the most efficient way to do this?

I’m thinking very quickly,
Once you have the font that you are working with why not create outlines and then make the stroke dotted?
I would position the stroke outside the letter

I would suggest keeping the text as text, and in the appearance panel add a stroke layer (dotted), and drag it beneath the white fill layer. That should let you keep the text live, yet still have the stroke on the outside of the letters

I think there may be some fonts that are dotted
