Does anyone know If I’m going to be designing invitations in InDesign, do I need a special program or something for the hebrew?
Thank you
if you are working in CC
you can change your preferences in your cloud app to english tomech ivrit and that will allow you to work in hebrew and english
oh i hear that. I have 2 computers now, one has just the old version of cs6 and my work one has cc, I guess its time not to update my home computer… I just do almost all my graphics in work.
I guess depends how much hebrew you’ll be typing, you could just use the glyphs and type backwards if its not too much hebrew
I’m starting to design wedding and bar mitzva invitations…
another tip-in the paragraphs panel you can select “adobe world ready single line composer” or something to that effect, and itll come out in a normal way (like not backwards)
Where do I change the preference to English tomech ivrit?
In the creative cloud app, click on your profile icon. choose preferences. go to apps, change the default install language.
Thank you so much!
Is this what I am supposed to get?
looks like I am not by the right place. It did not even help.
Can someone provide a screenshot of whare I can find this?
Where’d you go after preferences?
odd. maybe chat with adobe support.
Try it on your cc desktop app
Though I’m not sure if you won’t have to reinstall the programs after that…
You probably will have to reinstall. I changed to tomeich ivrit and my indesign which I updated to 2025 is working fine but my illustrator which is still 2023 is not…
