I have never done this before and I have been trying to do a bit of research but I am not getting anywhere, and I am wondering if maybe someone has some experience and could guide me.
I am trying to register a site with google search console and it is asking me to paste a txt record someplace. Where do I put it? In cpanel? Will it mess things up?

I believe that’s usually a file you upload to the root of the site (with FTP or using the file manager in cpanel)
Is this something that is typical to include when building a website?
