Flyer linked to the website

Hi!

I’m trying get this flyer i made for a campaign to bring you to the website when you click on it, or if you roll over the link that it would bring you there. Anyone know how to set that up? does it make a difference that my file is saved as a jpg?

Im pretty sure that you select the words that you want to bring you to the site, right click - hyperlink - new hyperlink, fill in the info. When saving the pdf, make sure to include interactive links (on the bottom of general, when you make your presets).
I dont know about jpg’s though…

I don’t see that option, I’m working in Illustrator…

That option is only available in indesign.
Maybe open you jpeg in indesign and type the link text in indesign and then save it as @al1 suggested…

JPEG i believe you cannot have a hyperlink. You can do a QR Code though.

this was very helpful! thanks so much! i actually ended up making a text box over the whole document and then made the hyperlink to that. I wanted the file in a jpg so that when they email it out they dont have to click on the attachment they are able to see the flyer in the email. any way to do that when using a pdf?
