Does Autocad work when not connected to internet?

HI Guys. A potential student wants to work on AutoCad hws at home when not connected to internet. Will AutoCad work? Anyone had experience with this?

AutoCAD & Revit both work offline but must connect online at least once every 30 days to verify the Autodesk account

i dont have internet at home and i am able to use autocad very well, though like Yitty mentioned , once in 30 days my laptop has to be connected to the internet…
p.s. send in homework , Quizis etc , for this, one has to be connected with the internet

thanks so much, thought so but since Autodesk keep changing their rules i wanted to clarify
