Hi, does anyone have experience scanning/photographing sketches to edit them in photoshop/etc.? I tried scanning in a sketch, but the resolution was not anywhere near the original. Are there settings on a scanner to play around with? What’s the best way to get the sketch onto a computer?

I would generally scan them, then bring them into Illustrator, touch them up in Illustrator-- possibly even retrace over- and then bring the AI file into PSD
I normally do that for less detailed sketches, but this was a detailed one with shading, etc. When I scanned it in, it wasn’t clear enough to see the pencil lines.
