Design Internship

Hi,
Has anyone ever done an internship (unpaid) for a design company? Is it worth it? Or should I be looking for an entry level job?
TIA!

If you’re able to do it, you’ll gain so much from it! I’d definitely recommend! If you live in Lakewood, I actually know someone looking so you can let me know if it interests you

I 100% agree with you. Internships are the best way to learn on the job. And the more experience, the better for future employers and jobs you apply for. Plus, hands-on experience means you won’t need as much “hand-holding” (not that you need it now; just a positive reason to do this) in your future jobs because you’ll now know certain steps because this internship helped you get there. Plus, the saying “practice makes perfect” will come alive for you in an internship environment. Plus, great benefit to your resume!

Before you ask, no, I have never interned but wouldn’t mind doing so. But live in the lower Hudson Valley. And don’t drive.

I’m not in Lakewood, but I can relocate if it’s a worthwhile experience.
Would you mind letting me know who’s looking for an intern so I can reach out to them?

Thanks so much!!

Definitely worth the experience! BUT I always say have a written contract of how long etc- ie. 2/3 months etc so that when it gets to the point that you are adding value etc you can ask for a paid job

There are places in brooklyn looking for graphic designers, I told them to post on here.

Can you please send the graphic design internship in Lakewood details to shanamandelbaum1@gmail.com?
