I am creating this flyer for a client. She services in silver polishing (the top is her logo).
She wants it to feature before and after pictures of her work, and left the rest to me, so I would love some critique and direction (no text, just contact info).
I had asked her for better quality photos to replace what is there for now.
Thank you!
I’m curious why the purple colors? I feel like it doesn’t necessarily match the content of the ad…
Oh. Because she likes the color purple;)
But you feel that it doesn’t fit? What color do you suggest?
i would go into silver grey, you can use the purple as accent color.
I also thought the purple was a little off for this kind of ad…
I hear.
but silver and grey are the colors of the silver. Wont it be too much?
What do you think of something like this? Putting the before pics on gray background in a “picture frame” kind of thing and the same with the after on a silver background?
I don’t know.
It is not like the pictures are professional and clean that I would display them so dominantly. That is why I had decided to go for a more of a gallery type of idea- you see the difference in color and I would think that that is the point.
Maybe a very dark blue?
or just change the background color not the color of image…(it doesn’t need to. be a solid color…)
I like it, the only thing I’d suggest is to maybe change the font. Besides that, it looks very nice!
thank you.
do the words look pixelated to you?
I think the words are maybe too heavly affected may try keep it simpler?
I actually prefer the first one, but the colouring of the second fits better
Love the second version! I think it needs more contrast in the yours can shine too line- maybe use a script font for the words besides shine so the word shine stands out more
She choose the first one that I designed (I fixed it up a bit more).
But there is something about the second one that I am really liking… lol.
Thank you everyone for your opinions!
you can send the pics to a photographer that does photo editing, it shouldn’t be too expensive and makes a world of a difference
You did a great job!!
