Any critiques and comments welcome for this ad! I know it is a long way from being done, but I’m sort of stuck at this point, as client did not give much detail as to what they want…
Nice! Can you make the top logo a bit bigger, maybe shift to the left a bit. Don’t need quite so much empty blue space on top, and would make it more of a dramatic focal point as comapred to the other text. Also, a bit of the blue rectangle showing below the squiggle on the left. Also might try closer to black rather than dark gray for a more dramatic effect. For the logo, would try to shift the word Video a drop to the right to sit better on the white, and perhaps a very thin white stroke, not really noticeable, around Production to make it stand out more. For the bottom text in the circles, white might work better, and wouldn’t use the ! after weddings.
Can you add an accent of another color to brighten it up a bit, make it more inviting and welcoming? Maybe a goldish yellow/ochre? Orange-rust color?
Better. The orange is nice, but too hard to read against the gray, you need a different color combo there. Contact info also a bit small and hard to see. For the logo, consider joining all the letters of production into one shape so the outline is around the whole form rather than each letter. Would make the orange word Videos bigger so it matches more the size of the surrounding text.
instead of plain backgrounds can you incorporate screenshots of actual video scenes (or event photos)? ideally of the occasions she does e.g. chupas etc… i.e. my gut is saying ‘where are the top quality videos??’ - i want to see them in the ad! esp. if she hasn’t got a website…
if u dont want it to dominate the top/lower part of the ad the maybe just in the 4 circles part…
