hi a client wants pictures of gadolim and to use them from google but Im nervous of copyright issues any advice what to do? and how to go about?
I’m never carefull about taking photos from the internet, am I crazy?
It’s officially a copyright issue. I once had a similar situation and I didn’t want to do it either.
Tell them you aren’t comfortable with it and ask them to purchase the images first. Or tell them you’ll buy the images and add it into your price
Would it be the designer or the clients issue?
so I told him and he said that the photographer said that if it doesn’t have a watermark then its fine … I dont know what to do I said ok… and there on a tight schedule help me
Maybe find one online that is free? Don’t take any Google image… There must be such a site, no?

Isn’t this the client you made that brochure for? If they are selling gedolim pics, where are they sourcing their images from? You should be able to use the same ones in your design.
