After I updated to photoshop 2025, by default, my texts are going from right to left. How do I change the default instead of manually doing it every time in my properties panel?
I know that i can click that button in middle eastern features to change it for the time being, but I want to change it so that I don’t have to do it every time.

Check your preferences in the CC - English Tomeich Ivrit
I checked my preferences- they already are on that setting…
Any other suggestions?
I think I changed my preferences in the program somewhere to default to english even in tomeich ivrit…

are you using the me type tool or the reg type tool?
I tried poking around in my settings, I thought it was a preference but I didn’t find it.
In my indesign, somehow i changed it to always go left to right even though the language is set to hebrew.
Try these 2:
In the character panel, flyout menu, character direction, choose default
change to adobe world ready paragraph composer in paragraph panel options.

change it to english, uninstall indesign and then reinstall it
