Canva vs Adobe

Hi! If a client wants me to design something but wants the ability to make changes in canva is this something I can still design in InDesign? How should I send them the file?

take a look at this link Can InDesign Convert to Canva? - WebsiteBuilderInsider.com

I generally recommend using Canva directly in such a case since it’s very user friendly and easy for clients. It’s a bit more limiting but you can bring in elements as needed

@adinacahn the article just says to convert it to pdf and upload it to canva and then you can “edit” it in Canva.
I don’t believe that’s totally accurate…
It’s basically telling you to upload a flat image though that wont automatically give you layers and separate elements.

got it-- didnt really read through it  just saw the upload button.
Maybe just create it in Canva then?
On the designergy that will come out tonight there’s a recording on Adobe Express with is Canva’s “competition” maybe you want to check that out? Your client can download Adobe Express free

Yeah I would create it in Indesign and then recreate it in canva afterwards in a simple format for the client to be able to edit. Does that make sense?
