Great job on this book cover by Chaya Shevy Lauber! The publisher/author wanted to include the building image and did not want to show a sun or rays of any sort, so design options were somewhat limited for this soon-to-be-published novel about a high school girl’s experiences at boarding school.
What is most impressive is that Chaya Shevy took and edited her own photos of the girls in order to get the right “look” for the book.

Clarification: the students were able to show the light of the sun, just not the sun itself.
