Can the designs be in color? Three must be in grayscale, the other three are up to you color or grayscale.
How big should each example be? Up to you, just block out six same-size areas. Easiest to just divide a page into 6
Do they have to be complicated? No. The goal is to try to get equal visual weight on both sides without using the same elements on both sides
Can I use images? It should not be representation, just use shapes, lines, colors, etc.
Which program should I use? Illustrator
Does it have to have a focal point, visual pathway, unity etc? No, the lesson is specifically on balance. But if you want to try to create unity and focus as well, go ahead!
