Hi,
I had this issue start today, its been working normally until now.
When I have an AE comp imported into premiere, every time I try to edit the AE comp, and save it, I get a “media offline” error in premiere, and then I have to relink it or reimport it.
Very annoying… Does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Are your programs in the same version? or did one update?
Oh I didn’t think of that. One is Beta and one is not. Does that make a difference?
they usually need to be the same versions to sync
definitely encoder needs to be so I would assume the same for AE and PP
