Add subtitle to wordpress post

Anyone ever used a plugin (such as secondary title or WP Subtitle) to add a secondary title to a wordpress post?

I’d suggest trying the ACF plugin. (Advanced Custom Fields)

I was hoping for a free plugin, it’s just for one field.

ACF core is free. But seems like a lot of work for that. You can’t just use a block?

It does seem a lot of work for just one field, but I need it to be a dynamic field pulled into the post, which will have a search/filter option.

I am still trying to figure this out. How will adding a block help me?

Here is a quick overview of what I am trying to achieve:
Team page with option to search on that page (filter / search for names and titles)

I am creating therefore each Team member as a separate post and will then use a search/filter plugin on that Team page. In order to apply the search filter I need it to be posts. Does that make sense?

If so, how can I add a subtitle in the post?

It does make sense, but a custom field also makes sense :slight_smile: I’m not sure what other method you might use if you require it to be a separate field and not part of the post data.
