180 pictures on big vector poster

Hello,

I created a big poster in Illustrator for a preschool hallway. 130x80 inches.

Now they want to put a picture of every girl on the bottom green part with a colored frame around each picture so the girls can put stickers for incentives etc. (around 180 pictures).

What would be the best way to do this so it doesn’t take a million hours and the pictures/ sign stay sharp?

If I understand correctly, I would bring it in to InDesign and use styles there for all the pictures.

like @sarahgreenbergmn wrote, bring the poster into Indesign, import all the pictures at once using your arrows to put them into rows etc. And then object style them

Got it, i appreciate your help!
I took the course a few years ago and unfortunately never opened InDesign since… I’m basically only on IA and PS… I hope I’ll manage!

Thanks so much!

Why is it blurry? I probably didn’t import it correctly. (file>place)

Right click, display performance, choose high quality display.

Don’t do each image individually BTW. Select all images to import at once, and like @adinacahn said, as you click and drag out the frame tool to place them, use your up arrow and right arrow to add as many frames in rows and columns as you need.

we’ll need to do a refresher indesign!! It’s a must use program  I’ll try to make a quick recording of importing it motzei shabbos

Thank you so so so very much! You all saved me lots of time :see_no_evil:

a pleasure. get rid of the empty frames near the center

I’m still getting the pics for those…

:+1:

can you seve it on a drop box or privately send it to me? my filter blocked it…
