Hi,
Wondering how freelancers go about this?

I spoke to a potential client about his project over the phone and emailed him 1-2 questions afterwards.
Do I give a price quote at this point or do I need any more info?

Also, how do you give a price quote:
Email it?
Something more professional/ with more info on it (Google doc or something?)

Hi,
I usually email the client a proposal which includes the price quote, the terms, and deposit amount… I can tell you from personal experience, always take a deposit before getting started! PM me if you’d like me to email you mine as an example.
