Hi, I was asked to design an email that will be sent out- kind of like a short magazine, but not in print, it will only be emailed.
Anyone have experience with this? How does designing this differ from regular design for print?

Many of the design aspects of this will be the same as a regular design piece. There are some additional considerations, such as the width of the design, for example, should be about 600 pixels wide to optimize viewing over email. I personally have used mailchimp in the past to design email newsletters; it’s free and easy to use. Not superexciting design-wise, but they can look decent and might be good for your first time.
