Hi,
My client purchased a font that she would like to use for her website.
What is the best and simplest way to upload it to the site?
I don’t know about simplest
But you can upload fonts to a child theme and then call them in the CSS with @font-face. Most webfonts come with the CSS you need. Did she buy the webfont version? If you haven’t worked with that before, you can paste the css here and I’m happy to walk through how to use it.
thanks…aww…I was hoping there is some easy way to do this…like a plugin…
Could be there is What theme are you using and how do you handle fonts now?
I know you won’t be too happy my answer, but I use elementor
Why? Elementor’s great. I think it’s one of the best page builder options available.
Try this: How to Add Custom Fonts Using Elementor | Elementor
I thought you don’t believe in using page builders as they slow things down
I don’t like TEACHING WordPress from the standpoint of a page builder. I think that people should learn native WP before heading for tools that are not part of the standard software.
However, once you know the basics, I think it’s a personal choice, and Elementor is a fabulous option for many people.
