Canva for in house graphic work?

Hi,
I’m starting a job at an established but growing business so they are not so excited about the adobe expense. Since they have a subscription to canva they want me to use that. Can anyone advise me about using canva since i know nothing about it?
Is it possible to create up to standard flyers, banners etc using canva?
Or anyone know how to go about getting adobe cheaper for business?

I use canva for simple things like invitations and stuff.

If you are used to the adobe programs then its probably annoying to design in canva…

I find Canva annoying since I feel like I’m so limited, but if you get used to working with it you’ll be okay. It definitely doesn’t have as many options and functions as Adobe but if they’re okay with that, go for it. I would suggest doing a free 30 day trial of Adobe to start, and then trying to chat with Adobe and see if they’ll offer you a cheaper rate. They do that sometimes if a customer doesn’t want to continue.

Thanks for that, it sounds workable. I guess if I dont get used to it, Ill do the free trial idea.

maybe if they’re still growing- you can convince them that Adobe is worth it- and will help grow their business because of the more things you can do with it…?

my experience is that canva is great if you want to design quickly based on their pre-made templates. not as great of you want to do custom made work and really not great if you want to do multi-page brochures.
are you not a member of adobe CC yourself? b/c you are normally allowed to install it on 2 devices.
