I’m in the middle of designing a 400 pg book and trying to create an index. Anyone know if there is a quicker way to insert the desired words into the index panel without going through the entire book and choosing the words manually? (maybe by paragraph style)
not sure but i recently worked on a cookbook and they had ‘an indexer’ take about a week to go through the book and create the index which i then had to typeset… i didnt know it was a graphic designer’s job to do! Table of contents yes…
would it be an option for you to delegate it?
